When a workplace needs an eyewash station, there's no room for cutting corners. This isn't just a fixture swap - it's a safety-critical installation that has to work perfectly the first time, every time. That's exactly how we approached this one.
We installed a Guardian 1100 ASME-approved eyewash station paired with an American Standard fixture and an Elkay sink. The eyewash heads you see are the orange Guardian units built right into the faucet assembly - a clean, functional setup that keeps the station compact and ready for immediate use. No fumbling around in an emergency.
The part most people don't think about is the water temperature. Too cold and it's painful to use. Too hot and it causes further irritation. That's where the Guardian thermostatic mixing valve comes in. We ran copper supply lines to the valve, which blends hot and cold water and delivers a consistent, controlled temperature to the station. The temperature gauge mounted right on the valve makes it easy to verify the output at a glance - no guessing, no adjusting, just consistent performance every time someone needs it.
This is the kind of work that matters. A station that's not properly plumbed or doesn't meet ASME standards isn't really a safety station - it's a liability. We made sure every component was installed to spec so this setup is compliant and dependable when it counts most.
Whether you're setting up a new facility, upgrading an outdated safety station, or just need a compliant plumbing fixture installed correctly, we handle commercial plumbing throughout Sarasota, Bradenton, and Lakewood Ranch. Getting it done right the first time is always the goal.
