This one was a seriously satisfying build. We installed a 300 lb stone resin freestanding tub - which is no small feat on its own - paired it with a floor-mounted Kohler gold brass tub filler, and tied the whole thing into a Halo whole-house filtered water system. Every piece of this setup was chosen for a reason.
Stone resin tubs are in a different category than your standard acrylic. They hold heat longer, they feel more substantial underfoot when you step in, and the matte white finish has a clean, high-end look that holds up over time. Moving and setting a tub at that weight takes real planning - you can't just roll it in and call it a day.
The Kohler floor-mounted tub filler in brushed gold brass ties directly into the luxury feel of the space. That warm gold tone against the white marble-look tile walls is a combination that just works. We also installed matching gold brass fixtures in the shower - body jets, the valve trim, showerhead - so the whole bathroom speaks the same design language.
The Halo whole-house filtration is the piece most people don't think about until they're already in the tub. Filtered water means less chlorine, less buildup on your fixtures, and a noticeably better experience overall. It's the kind of upgrade that works quietly in the background and protects everything downstream - your tub, your fixtures, your skin.
When bathroom remodeling and fixture installation come together like this, the result is something that feels genuinely custom. It's not just about looks - it's about making sure every component is installed correctly, works the way it's supposed to, and lasts.
